Blake Lively took mermaidcore to new heights this week by stepping out in an ocean-colored gown covered in scales.

The actor made a stunning entrance at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store in New York City on Thursday, to celebrate the launch of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams.

For the occasion, Lively pulled out a shimmering Tiffany blue body-hugging dress with a subtle fish-scale pattern. The vibrant piece was entirely covered in tiny glowing beads in deep teal, bright aquamarine, and pearly white.

And while the dress was a jewel itself, the Gossip Girl alum didn’t stop there with the sparkle. On the gown, she pinned two different brooches with large blue and yellow diamonds; and on her hands, she wore a wrapped white diamond bracelet with a massive sky-blue diamond dangling from the center, plus a magnificent pear-shaped yellow diamond ring, and a yellow and white diamond cluster cocktail ring. Her ears were also frosted with cascading white diamond drop earrings.

Lively finished the look with powder-blue sandals with silky ropelike straps. For glam, she wore a glossy nude mani-pedi, shimmery pink makeup, a bright red lip, and side-parted bombshell waves.

Lively has been lying low this year after welcoming her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds. But ever the belle of the ball, the The Age of Adaline actor is expected to make her grand return to the Met Gala next Monday, and we cannot wait to be inspired by her red-carpet look.
